First French Masters Circuit Tournament

The first French Masters took place from 2 to 4 June 2017 at the Club de Bordeaux Nord (SquashBad33), with 98 participants from 17 European countries …

From Friday morning to Sunday 231 matches have been scheduled on the 10 courts in 10 age categories.

High-level matches were held during these three days with a great team atmosphere in these veteran categories.

During these three days, players and accompanying persons were able to taste oysters and wine in the two stands placed at their disposal.

The finals scheduled on Sunday morning showed the level of participants.

In M35 Kostiantyn Ribalchenko dominated his category by winning all these matches by 3 to 0

In M45 Stéphane Gallenne made the same course with a beautiful finale on Jeremy Krzystyniak

In W35 it is Sabrina Belliot won her first title conceding only one game.

In W45 Karin Thiel wins against Sam Mueller after a match in 5 games.

At the awards ceremony, 1 minute of silence was observed as a tribute to the victims of the London bombing. We had during this weekend the presence of Jacques Fontaine President of the WSF. A big thank you to the club of Bordeaux Nord and the League N-AQUI for organizing the first masters in France and thanks to the support of the ESF.

All the participants were satisfied with this first Master and we know that we can make further improvements for next year.
