More than 170 players have participated in the Spanish Masters Open that Club Squash Valencia has organized during the days 9, 10 and 11 of March of 2018. The high number of players is a proof that Valencia is an attractive city and that the European circuit keeps growing every day. We have put all the enthusiasm and effort so that the players enjoyed this championship. Now is three years since we organized it in 2015 for the first time, and we have tried our best to correct the mistakes we had and get it so that everyone liked it.

We have had visitors from all over Europe, especially from Germany and England. But also a good number of Italians, Portuguese, French, Poles ... and especially the rest of the provinces of all Spain. Hopefully the European Federation will continue to reserve a space for us in March for Madrid, Barcelona, ??Andalusia or Galicia to organize a European Masters.

We, the Club Squash Valencia, would like to return in three or four years with much more energy and improve the performance of the two venues in which we have played, Olympia and K-7, with four courts each. The first with the Hotel right next door and the second with some good quality courts.

We want to especially thank everyone for their kindness and understanding. Also for sportsmanship and fair play, by 99%. Finally, to wish one of the great Masters of the Circuit, Paul Johnson M-40, to recover soon from his serious injury. We dedicate these lines to you.
