International Squash Festival was held in Turkey
The President of the Turkish Developing Sports Branches Federation Mr. Hasan Ozturk and the Mayor of Nilufer Mr. Mustafa Bozbey have organised an International Squash Festival in order to support Squash. Ukraine and Serbia participated in the Festival, which was held firstly in August 28-30. The Festival will be held traditionally every year on August 30th and next year many countries all over the world will be invited. The participants will be entertained by Nilufer Municipality and their whole expenses like accomodation, food, visits, transfers, except flight will be met by the Municipality.
Mr. Mustafa Bozbey, the Mayor, gives extraordinary support to develop Squash. The construction of a Squash Court Project which consists of 10 courts, 2 of which are glass, is continiuing. It is planned to be finalised in 4-6 months. Following this Project, another Squash Project, which will be a unique, one in the world with 24 courts, will be started, also a Sports Hotel with 62 rooms has been recently opened. With all these Projects, it is planned to host World and European Championships and many other great organisations in Bursa, Nilufer."
