Hungarian Masters 2023

Between April 21-23 and part of the ESF Masters Circuit, the Hungarian Masters Open took place in Budapest. 102 players from 21 nations entered the tournament, which was hosted by the City Squash Club with 4 normal and 1 mobile glass court.

Those who competed or watched in Budapest had a fantastic three days, the highlight of which was the visit of the former World champion, currently ranked second in the world -  Mohamed ElShorbagy.

On Saturday evening Mohamed held a training session for the Hungarian juniors, then took part in an hour-long question-and-answer session, which continued with dinner. On Sunday, after the Masters award ceremony he played an enjoyable exhibition match with the wr.48 Hungarian champion Balazs Farkas in the packed hall in front of 400 spectators.
