Squash community has lost a good referee and a friend to many

It is with deep sadness that we learned on Sunday of the death of Marc Palmieri (55).
Passionate about squash, Marc Palmieri was a good level player but many of you probably knew him as a referee. He was president of the FFSquash National Referee Commission and for several years a member of the ESF referee committee, as well as federal and European referee. He has officiated at countless competitions: French championships, European and world championships, PSA circuit tournaments, etc. Beyond his skills, he was appreciated by everyone for his human qualities.
The squash community loses a friend and his energy and passion for our sport will be missed.
