ESF launches new 'Coach as Manager' workshop
Jan302024
The European Squash Federation is holding a new coaching workshop focusing on 'The Role of Coach as Manager' in partnership with the Squash Facilities Network.
Taking place on 25-26 May at the Padeldome in Vienna, Austria, the workshop will explore best practice models for coaches working at club level to grow the player base at their squash facility.
The workshop will build on the first ESF Think Tank in Bucharest in January last year.
Michael Khan, Director of the ESF Coach Education Committee, will lead the event. He said: "We want to discuss and share best practice models that are currently being used and maybe find new ways to grow our sport."
The format will be a workshop with keynote speakers introducing topics, which then will be discussed in groups and finally collated to a resource that can be used by all club managers and coaches.
